Of the 17,226 people living in Pampa in 2020, 50.1 percent (8,624) were women and 49.9 percent (8,602) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Panhandle Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 264. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,658 females and 1,221 males.
