In-state tuition and fees fell 12.3 percent for 2018-19 at Clarendon College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.
Texas residents paid $3,264 to attend the two-year public institution this year – $288 more than the $2,976 charged for 2017-18.
Non-residents paid 22.8 percent more than residents this year, or $4,008. Their price tag grew 7.7 percent from $3,720 in 2017-18.
About 72 percent of the school’s undergraduate population are Texas residents. About 15 percent are residents of other states and 13 percent are citizens of other countries.
Data shows 83 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 207 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1 million and 123 students took out student loans totaling more than $556,828.
Including all undergraduates (1,844), 1,084 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.6 million, and 418 students took out $2.1 million in federal student loans.
