Ken King, a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 88, recently shared updates and upcoming events with constituents through a series of posts on his official social media account.
On December 5, 2025, King announced an event in Gaines County: “Gaines County is up next Wednesday afternoon. We’ll be at the Seminole EMS building from 3:30 to 4:30. I’ll share a few updates and stick around to hear from you. Hope you’ll join us.”
The following day, December 6, he highlighted District 88’s participation in the Texas House Christmas tree tradition: “Last night, District 88 made its mark on the Texas House Christmas tree. Our 2025 District 88 ornament was painted by talented first grade teacher Molly Northcott of Canadian ISD, featuring the historic Canadian River Wagon Bridge. I was proud to place it on the tree during”
Later that same day, King invited residents to another community meeting: “I’ll be in Andrews County next Thursday morning, December 11, for a town hall at the National Bank of Andrews. If you’ve got thoughts or questions about where we’re headed next session, this is a good time to bring them. Would love to see you there.”
King has represented Texas’s 88th House district since his election in 2013 after succeeding Jim Landtroop.
