Ken King, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing District 88 since 2013, shared updates on his recent town hall activities and upcoming events through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
On December 4, 2025, King recapped his visit to Hall County: “Our Town Hall tour made it to Hall County Tuesday afternoon and we had a good conversation in Memphis.
We talked through school allotments for small and midsize districts, border security, and the growing role of data centers in rural Texas. It’s important to me that policy work”.
The following day, December 5, King reported on the conclusion of the week’s town halls: “We wrapped up the week’s town halls in Donley County with an informative visit at Clarendon College.
It was a busy session and a productive one, and I appreciate the chance to walk through how House District 88 benefited.
We also had a few folks from Texas REALTORS drop in to”.
Later that same day, King announced an upcoming event: “I’ll be in Yoakum County on Wednesday, December 10, for an afternoon town hall at the community center in Denver City.
We’ve got more work ahead next session, and appreciate hearing from you. I look forward to seeing you there Yoakum County.”
King has served as state representative for Texas’s 88th House district since his election in 2013. He succeeded Jim Landtroop after winning office as a Republican.
