Census Bureau: More men than women in Shamrock in 2020

Of the 1,958 people living in Shamrock in 2020, 45.5 percent (890) were women and 54.5 percent (1,068) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Panhandle Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 13. In the 65 and over age range, there were 150 females and 180 males.
