There was one American Indian student enrolled in Memphis ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Memphis ISD schools welcomed 442 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Memphis ISD roughly covers schools within Hall County and has a main office in Memphis.

Memphis Middle School was the only school in the district which enrolled American Indian students, welcoming one student in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.
