There were 47 white students enrolled in Pringle-Morse CISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 23.7% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Pringle-Morse CISD schools welcomed 129 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 36.4% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

Pringle-Morse CISD roughly covers schools within Hansford County and has a main office in Morse.

Pringle-Morse Schools was the only school in the district which enrolled white students, welcoming 47 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
