Among the nine schools in Deaf Smith County, Hereford Junior High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 580 students, while Northwest Elementary School welcomed 457 students and ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.
Hereford High School is a part of Hereford ISD, which roughly covers schools within Deaf Smith County with its main office in Hereford.
In the previous school year, Hereford High School also had the highest number of students among Deaf Smith County schools.
