There were 107 students enrolled in Pringle-Morse CISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 17.1% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 57% of them were boys, and 43% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 64.5% of the Pringle-Morse CISD total enrollment.

Pringle-Morse CISD roughly covers schools within Hansford County with its main office in Morse.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
