How many Hispanic students were enrolled in Pringle-Morse CISD schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 69 Hispanic students enrolled in Pringle-Morse CISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 15.9% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Pringle-Morse CISD schools welcomed 107 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 64.5% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Pringle-Morse CISD roughly covers schools within Hansford County and has a main office in Morse.

Pringle-Morse Schools was the only school in the district which enrolled Hispanic students, welcoming 69 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
