Census Bureau: More women than men in Memphis in 2019

Of the 2,215 people living in Memphis in 2019, 50.5 percent (1,118) were women and 49.5 percent (1,097) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Panhandle Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 631-to-620. In the 65 and over age range, there were 240 females and 188 males.
