Fort Elliott CISD Education: 159 students were enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

There were 159 students enrolled in Fort Elliott CISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 10.4% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 54.7% of them were girls, and 45.3% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 91.2% of the Fort Elliott CISD total enrollment.

Fort Elliott CISD roughly covers schools within Wheeler County with its main office in Briscoe.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
