Congressman Nathaniel Moran of Texas has announced changes to his staffing in both his Washington, D.C., and First Congressional District offices. He expressed pride in his team, emphasizing their deep connections to East Texas and dedication to public service. "I’m honored Cruz, Robbin, Emma, and Ray will play key parts in fulfilling this mission during the 119th Congress," said Moran.
Cruz Perez from Tyler, Texas, has been promoted to Legislative Director. His career with Moran began when the Congressman was first sworn into office on January 3rd, 2023. Perez is an alumnus of Tyler I.S.D., Tyler Junior College, and Baylor University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Religion. He previously worked for Congresswoman Mayra Flores (R-TX-34).
Robbin Bass of Texarkana, Texas, now serves as District Director after being Deputy District Director since Moran's term began. Before joining Moran's team, she was involved with the Texarkana USA Regional Chamber of Commerce and served as District Director for Congressman John Ratcliffe (R-TX-04).
Emma Chance from Shreveport, Louisiana, joins as a Legislative Assistant. Her prior experience includes working as a Legislative Correspondent for U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID). She is currently attending law school at George Washington University.
Ray Wilson of Marshall, Texas, takes on the role of Senior Advisor. Previously he was District Director for Texas State Senator Bryan Hughes (R-TX-District 1). A native of Hawkins, Texas, Wilson has also been involved in ministry work.
