Of the 21,494 citizens living in Moore County in 2021, 68.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 14,641 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 7,666 were male, constituting 52.4%, and 6,975 were female, making up 47.6%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Moore County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
