Congressman Nathaniel Moran is looking to hire a veteran, Gold Star family member, or active-duty spouse for a special position in his district offices located in Tyler or Texarkana. This opportunity is part of the Green and Gold Congressional Aide Program.

"I am proud to announce that my district office will participate in the Green and Gold Congressional Aide Program," said Congressman Moran. "This program provides employment opportunities for veterans, Gold Star families, and active-duty spouses within the House of Representatives. These individuals have sacrificed in service to our country, and it is a privilege to provide employment opportunities to those who have answered the call to serve."

The Green and Gold Congressional Aide Program was established to offer employment opportunities within the U.S. House of Representatives specifically for veterans, Gold Star families, and active-duty spouses. The positions aim to provide aides with experience and exposure necessary for career advancement. Participants may be assigned roles with Members, Committees, or House Officers either in Washington D.C., or across various Member district offices nationwide. The positions are full-time paid roles lasting two years.

Duties for these roles include working as constituent service representatives, assisting local constituents with federal agency issues, liaising with local Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs), attending events on behalf of Congressman Moran, and performing legislative work.

Interested candidates can visit https://www.usajobs.gov/ and search 'Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program' for more information about program requirements and application procedures. For additional inquiries, individuals can contact Congressman Moran’s office at 202-225-3035.
