On Monday, March 24, former Gruver High School standout Kimber Mathews’ current collegiate team the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps lost 66-55 against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, this was the first game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas during the championship.

Kimber Mathews’ hometown is Gruver and game position is guard.
