Clarendon Community College issued the following announcement.
The Clarendon College Men’s Basketball team sewed up the 2019-2020 WJCAC Championship Monday night with a 74-72 victory over Midland College. The Bulldogs finished the regular season off in impressive fashion Thursday night by crushing Western Texas College 113-72. “Coach Isaac, Coach Richardson and the young men on that basketball team accomplished something extremely special this season that no one can ever take away from them” said Clarendon College Athletic Director Mark James. “Year in and year out this conference is widely considered the top of the junior college basketball mountain. And right now our guys sit on top of that mountain and I think that’s pretty special.” The Bulldogs impressive season continues on Wednesday, March 4th at Moody Coliseum in Abilene, Texas. The West #1 seed Clarendon College Bulldogs will take on the North #4 seed Temple College Leopards at 1pm.
