Dimmit ISD issued the following announcement.
DISD Return to School Parent Survey Fall 2020 (Encuesta de Padres de Regreso a la Escuela Otoño 2020)
THIS SURVEY MUST BE COMPLETED FOR EACH CHILD IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD.
This survey will help DISD prepare for the coming school year. The survey asks your preference of "attending school each day ON CAMPUS or choosing the VIRTUAL option and participating in School@home.
At this time, your response to this survey is not a commitment to on campus or the virtual option. You will have the opportunity to change your decision until August 7th, 2020. Registration for all campuses is August 6th, 2020.
Students in grades 3-12 participating in the the VIRTUAL option (SCHOOL@HOME) will use district provided devices to receive instruction.
Students in grades Pre K - 2 participating in the VIRTUAL option (SCHOOL@HOME) will be provided paper packets until the district is able to provide students with a device.
All students who choose to come to school for ON CAMPUS learning will be required to follow the Governor's mask order.
More detailed information will be available to parents on July 28, 2020.
