Laredo Community College issued the following announcement.
Students who are looking to make the most out of their winter break by advancing, resuming or beginning a career, can take advantage of courses during Wintermester at Laredo College. Registration for Wintermester is currently underway.
The college offers a myriad of associate degree programs, one-year degree programs and an array of certifications. Students from Laredo and surrounding areas who are about to make one of the most important decisions of their lives – choosing what college to attend – will get the best of both worlds at Laredo College. They will be able to enjoy online courses and affordable tuition while attending a prestigious, nationally-recognized academic institution.
Students do not have to travel far or pay exorbitant amounts of money to get a first-class education. They can stay close to home and take advantage of LC’s online Wintermester courses. Our online education is backed by a nationally recognized, faculty-driven peer-review process used to ensure that the quality of online course design is on par with face-to-face instruction.
LC is inviting everyone to take advantage of these convenient, three-week online courses. Some of the courses offered during the Wintermester include computer science, history, government, psychology, English, speech, kinesiology, math and art. Wintermester courses begin on Dec.14.
